I just finished the redesign of my professional blog and turned my computer screen around for John to see it because I wasn't completely happy with the results. (I was also at a point where I was unwilling to sink any more time into it.) John said something profoundly encouraging. "It's a good place to be right now. You don't have to stay there."
It occurs to me that "a good place to be right now" is a wonderful framework for looking at a lot of things. Things bigger than a blog design.
Baby, I'm glad we had this conversation.
