One of the great things about good friends is that you know all of their idiosyncracies. For example, Nancy-the-Insightful always moves her ring to sit on top of the other one when she is trying to remember. So, I typically ask her about it when I notice.

She is trying to remember to pick me up in the morning for breakfast.
