Next weekend, our friends Michelle and Shane are getting married, so Friday night I went to the bachelorette party. We had a great time. The band--True Bone--was amazing. High energy cover songs of the 70's, 80's and 90's with power vocalists and a saxaphone at Sambuca 360.The bachelorette party was great because it gave me an opportunity to get to know some of Michelle's close friends and to meet her sister, Mary.
Rumor has it that Michelle really embarassed Mary at her bachelorette party...something about a shirt, lifesavers and financing their drinks for the evening. (Yes, that is all the detail you are going to get.) Mary simply purchased a highly interesting package of straws...one of which became Michelle's magic wand for the evening. It was a lot of fun, but most of all I'm happy that friends we care about are beginning a new life together. Because life is much nicer when shared.

Apparently, this was initiated on our message board by Floyd-the-Sidekick and the name was changed all night long.
As it turns out, Jeff really was the one who rocked, since he won all the money.
