People in My Story

My husband, John
Who doesn't have a post yet because I can't figure out how to fit him into 500 words or less. However, if you are curious as to how we met you can read about it here.

My son, Chase
Chase's nickname is "Wildcard." (I can attest to the accuracy having played poker with him.)  He plays guitar, rides a motorcycle and I never walk away from a conversation with him without being impressed at the man he's grown up to be.

My daughter, Bethany
Bethany loves shoes, designer handbags, working out and is scary smart. She also has a quick sense of humor and often makes me laugh out loud. Bethany is a girl with a plan and is majoring in economics.

Nancy-the-Insightful
Nancy and I have read dangerous books together, navigated day jobs, volunteered, practiced yoga, hung out in diners, gotten into contemplative prayer, and live blocks away from each other. Nancy says randomcathy.com isn't my blog.  It is her outsourced diary.

Nancy is married to Peter-the-Pilot.

Elsa-the-Poet
Elsa and I became friends when we worked together in the early '90s.  (Okay, just saying early 90's is freaking me out a bit.)  Whenever my calendar says "Coffee with Elsa" it means we are having dinner with wine while solving the world's problems.

Lynette-the-Cowgirl

Lynette and I go back to when we grew up on Ming Drive.  We've been friends ever since!

David-the-Artist-Pastor

David was a photographer and graphic designer before he went into ministry, which means he talks in pictures....which is why I actually understand what he says.

Rhonda-of-the-Comic-Strip-Pantyhose
Rhonda is my SIL.  And more than that...

The BFF's
We've been friends since high school.  And the punch line to this photo is that we flamingoed the wrong house...

Robin introduced me to the wonderful world of papers and inks, then it took on a life of its own.

Mike-the-Art-Love-Magic-Guy
Mike is just cool.  You should checkout artlovemagic.com and get to know him.

Carl-the-Famous-Theologian and Sunny-the-City Girl

Carl is a professor who writes books for a living and is married to Sunny an artist who has a fun vibrant style to her paintings. They have recently moved their home base to Denver.

Cliffy and Katya

Cliffy and Katya have honorary family status.  Well, Cliffy was here first and Katya got adopted because she is intelligent, interesting and one of the bravest people I know.
