The Hon. Mrs. Cobbey invited me to be part of their ATC group. (Something about which I am VERY excited.) So, today in the mail, I received an envelope--hand addressed in a pile of junk mail.When I opened it, this beautiful 3.5 x 2.5 piece of art fell out with a little story on the back about lathes and male bonding. (Funny.) The detail (though I couldn't capture it with my camera) is incredible. The inked edges, the photo corner, the embossed wax, the dimensional quote... It is beyond cool.
The premise of the group is six months. Six themes.Though I'm not technically supposed to begin until August (so that the others don't have to scramble to make an extra) I couldn't wait. I sent mine out in the mail today. The theme as I mentioned before is "Male Bonding." As it so happens, Thursday night was poker night at my house for John and his buddies. A little digital magic to make the photo look like it was printed in the 1960's and "voila!"

Like my friends and I like to say, we only send our cards to "worthy" people. People who don't appreciate hand made stuff just aren't worthy to get our stuff! :)
