The Charlie Brown Christmas Tree

Yesterday while visiting a friend, I was delighted by what they'd done with the sapling in their front yard.

If you didn't grow up with the Charlie Brown Christmas Special, then its meaning might be lost.  But if you know the story, then it is a reminder of the beauty of the ultimate underdog.

And that humble things can be amazingly special.
