Last night at yoga class, Jenny-the-Rescue-Yogi talked about looking up. She said children are always looking up. (Mostly because everyone is taller than them.) But as we grow older, we look down a lot. At our keyboards...at our workspace...at our feet (imagine an old man shuffling along)...
There is something to the physical posture of looking up.
We use it in our language to designate hope... (ie...'things will look up.')
King David wrote 'I lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my hope come from?
Today, I think I will focus on looking up. Who knows what could happen?
