Manga in real life.

Last year I got a surprise on Facebook.  I had donated to a cause and manga artist, Samax Amen created a cartoon of me. It hit me on a day when I was feeling discouraged and completely changed the way I was looking at the world that week.  There is something inordinately powerful about having something special happen when you completely weren't expecting it.

Recently, Samax put out an offer to create manga portraits of real people.  Of course, I jumped at the chance to get one done for my kids—Chase and Bethany.

What was the most fun is that not only did he get a good likeness, but he also captured their personalities.

I believe this is a limited time offer, but if you are interested in seeing yourself as a manga portrait, check out Samax's website: http://ghettomanga.bigcartel.com/product/cartoon-portraits
