David-the-Artist-Pastor told a story about striking middle C on a piano. He then mentioned that if you push the key for the C an octave higher—undampening it—that it will begin to resonate with the middle C even though it has not been struck.
There are many things that pick up resonance. A tuning fork once struck will cause an unstruck tuning fork to begin to sing as well.
I love the thought that there is resonance all around us. And that those of us that are "undampened" begin to resonate too.
