Art of a modern revolution

I just had the opportunity to read Joshua Boulet's Draw Occupy Wall Street.

With only a sleeping bag, easel and some paper, Joshua went to New York to experience the movement and document it in comic book sketches. The story is told as a diary of words and images.

It was interesting to hear the "on the ground" story. Plus, I loved the beauty of the drawings. Those done thoughtfully. Quick sketches. And those made while marching. Josh captured the hope, confusion and humanity of it.

Josh's experience was a very different angle than what was shown on the news.

If you are interested in the book to experience it for yourself, the only place to order is from Joshua's website. Check out: http://www.joshuaboulet.com/OWS/DrawOWS/draw%20ows.htm
