She's here! Lammily arrived!

It started when Nickolay Lamm asked what it would be like if fashion dolls were made using standard human body proportions. He took data from the CDC to come up with proportions for an average 19-year-old girl and printed it via a 3-D printer.  The photo of the comparison with his model to a Barbie went viral.

Back in March, when I read the article, I participated in the crowdfunding effort to make Lammily real.

I have never been more proud to be part of something.  First of all, she's NORMAL.  You feel it when you pick her up. Her shape is so different from traditional fashion dolls. But more than that, it shows the power that one person can have.  Nickolay Lamm didn't just stop with a great idea. He tried to make it real, and lots of other people believed in his idea and joined in to help him.
